To be honest, I never liked either Trekkie or Trekker. I'm a Star Trek fan. I'm not a Doctor Whoie or a Doctor Whoer (oo er missus!), or a Film Noirie or a Film Noirer, or a Philip K. Dickie or a Philip K. Dicker (oh dear), either.

I'm a Trekkie and proud of it! I'm not afraid to admit to anyone. If they dont' like it its there problem not mine. I have always been a Trekkie and I always be. I can't help I just love everything about Star Trek.

I am a person who likes Star Trek in all it's forms (Some better than others).

Make of that what you will.

I am a Trekkie at heart, I called myself that as a kid and really didn't know about the term Trekker nor would I have probably cared.:vulcan:

I'm a Trekkie and proud of it. I resist the use of Trekker since it seems to exist only because of embarrassment over the world Trekkie.

I'm neither - just a fan.

I usually describe myself as a scifi fan, actually - not a Trek fan. Because I like all kinds of scifi shows...some of them alot more than I like most Trek shows.

DS9 is my favorite TV show ever....but then you have to go down several places (past Babylon 5, LOST, nuBSG, Buffy, Farscape, The X-Files and probably a few others) before you get to the next favorite Trek show on the list.

So 'scifi fan' seems to fit me best. :)

im a trekker who lives in a country with no trek cons whatsoever and trek merch is extra expensive... damn americans...

WTF! All right! That's it all you non Trekkie/Trekker's line up I set my phaser to puree and then I'll...BAM (Giant Monty Python-esq 2000 pound weight drops on GhostFaceSaint)!

The way it was described to me is, a trekker is a good solid fan. A trekkie is a boarder-line fanatic, wears the costume away from conventions, paints their car like a shuttle craft, that kind of stuff. It's a matter of degree.

I'm a trekkie.

I don't own uniforms, I never went to a convention, don't own any Trek memorabilia or action figures.... only dvds, 2 soundtracks and a handful of DS9 novels.

And I call myself a Trekkie. I love Star Trek.

Never been to a convention? You sure are a strange one, do you at least have an alter in your room to your favorite Trek character, 'cause that's mandatory!:guffaw:
