Spoilers Are they going to re-cast Archer?

I think it would be really cool to see one of Trek's big names make a cameo. It would encourage me to tune in. If Tuvok somehow got worked in...

Tuvok won't be born until 2264, which is still 7 years away.

I suppose his parents could turn up, though. IIRC, they were both in Starfleet.

Archer-free is the way to be. If Denise Crosby is still looking to do more cameos, maybe we'll see her. Tasha's distant descendant who happens to look exactly like her.

Nah, he looks a bit old for that. Tuvok's parents are probably in their late teens or early 20's. Terral could be Tuvok's grandfather, though.

Sarek was 65 when Spock was born. And T'Pol got married (apparently for the first time) at age 66. Per E2, she was still able to bear children at that age. Vulcans live for a couple hundred years, and there's nothing that says Tuvok couldn't be a younger child in a large family.

That said, Tuvok's father was an officer onboard a starship (USS Yorktown) in 2293. It's unlikely that he had been a full Admiral 37 years prior to that. So, if Terral is related, he'd best be a grandfather.

I don't actually understand why this Archer question is being asked, much as I like Bakula and Enterprise.

The only Enterprise reference I need in Disco:

Connor Trinneer approaches the Discovery crew

"Y'all are with Starfleet? I was too.. until I faked my death and came here, to the future. Now I'm some kinda 'future guy'. Y'all take care now."

"I don't like how I was treated in the final episode. That's why I genetically engineered the Suliban to kill Jon early on. I forgot that I already did that, though."

I think the answer is no. First the Temporal Cold War didn't happen and I think only people from "Enterprise" remember the events that happened in their time. The war basically ended once the Space Nazi's were stopped. Also when Archer got their it was a altered future where they had real books instead of computer chips or something in their library. All which would be altered again without a temporal time war. To top it off he wasn't their very long. Just long enough to get a spoon and computer stuff to send a message to T'pol and then be sent back.

I think if we see anyone it would be Daniels and the Temporal Agency he works for. In fact it makes sense. If their stay isn't for long and the show plans to continue in the past they can send them back. If not Daniels can come tell them they can't go back. They were always destined to come to the future and that is where they belong now. I assume the ship might actually be destroyed as well so we could see all sorts of options.

A new futuristic ship,a show more planet based for most of the year. Maybe they become temporal agents and the next season is about time travel to different periods of time. Perhaps even a crossover with Picard or a visit to their old time where they have to deal with Gergiou. Burnham's mom and maybe her dad will even play a part of this time travel themed season. The craziest idea is the take command of the Enterprise of that era. Which sounds hackey but I always thought it would be cool to see a Enterprise where the previous crew failed to live up the honor that goes with being a crew of that ship. The Enterprise name no longer means anything in the 28th century and it's kind of old a obsolete, for that era, but this crew takes over to sort of bring back the magic.

Hey maybe Trip becomes a new regular on the show. He is another person that might need to disappear from the past to preserve canon.
