Are the DS9 novels a worthy continuation of the TV series?

I am also looking forward to the NES and all further Cardassian Novels. Not so sure about the Soul Key myself, but the Mirror Universe is handled pretty well in the Trek EU. (Even the Shaterverse)

I really like the relaunch of DS9 and can recommend it whole-heartly.

Though I gotta admit, I had troubles with Mission: Gamma and with
Fearful Symmetry (I'm not too much into the Mirror/Myriad Universes).
