April Fools tomorrow

It's April Fools tomorrow. Are you looking forward to it? Dreading it? Apathetic?

It annoys the hell out of me when idiot friends try and personally fool me, but I sometimes get a kick out of well-done sham internet and TV news stories. It's a shame there haven't been any good ones in the past few years.

I didn't even realize it was April Fool's Day tomorrow until you mentioned it. I've never seen anyone in real life bother to prank anyone on April Fool's Day, but it's always fun to scour the internet for the year's better gags.

There will be several hilarious ones on here like BSG getting a movie, Paramount abandoning the next ST movie etc.

Does the Doctor Who team do April Fools pranks? I'd love to see what they could come up with to send the fans into a tailspin.

I'm not a fan of it. I hate it when I can't trust what someone says because of the damned day.

For in person jokes, it always seems fairly pointless when you're not supposed to do them past 12pm.
I'm usually still in bed by that point

When I was at junior school, April fools day was an excuse to sellotape a (nearly empty) talcum powder bottle to my parent's bedroom door, such that it would detach and swing and fling out when they opened the door. Over the years I had perfected the mechanism.

My mum always took it in good humour, but with my dad you'd have thought I'd scratched the car. He does not like jokes that involve him. He can give it but can't take it.

At high school one year we all hid from our teacher during registration, which I thought was a bit silly. Then our history teacher had several drawing pins fixed into the seat of her chair which I thought was pretty evil, but apparently I was the only one who thought it was.

I haven't bothered with it since high school.

Oh fun. It's last day of term as well. I'm going to watch myself.

I love April Fools. I don't normally have the energy to do it, and I suck at telling lies. As in, funny over-the-top lies. I'm good with the others. People just assume I'm deadpan all the time, which I normally am, and even if I succeed, yelling 'April Fools' is
probably beneath me.
Anyway, the amount of people who are going to try and trick me will be huge, I bet.

They will all fail. :)

yeah ..., not a fan of the whole joke aspect of it. But, it also happens to be my anniversary at this job (15 years tomorrow.)

As I get older and more boring, I've lost interest in April fool's day.

I need to shake things up. And speaking of shake.... my wife just might see a foreign powder in the salt shaker tomorrow.

It's the anniversary of when my girlfriend and I started dating. Our first date was April 1, 2009.
