Brilliant! Love the "worn" texture on it. How'd you do that?

To get the worn look, I generally Google for textures/scans of old and worn paper or walls until I find something appropriate, then desaturate it, adjust the contrast and add as a layer using the "screen" filter. Then, a bit of transparency and masking work to fine tune.

It looks good, but the tag line made me think more of "Arena". Amok Time is more of a character episode - two guys who always worked as a team are forced to confront each other. Arena is more your typical B-movie - hero fights monster, clearly defined good guy/bad guy.

Very true, but I felt that a loud and overly simplistic tag line suited the B-Movie feel. And it makes me laugh.

So that's it? You just give up? It's an Art CHALLENGE. Rise to the challenge man! Yes, this is an awesome entry for an awesome contest...but you really have no idea how this'll play out. The month is young....so start creating, if for no other reason than to generate another cool entry! You might even win!


And ITL, it is an awesome entry....thanks for sharing on how to age something with an easier technique than the one I've been using...
