Contest: ENTER April Art Challenge - Design Series VI

As we all know, the new Star Trek is due out next year, but we've yet to see any production art. So, to fill that gap the challenge this month is to present your design ideas for the new series.

Will you draw inspiration from TOS, TNG, or maybe the abramsverse? Do you want to see the series set in the prime timeline with an existing class of ship or are you going to go further forward into the future or throw canon out the window and start from scratch?

Your entries can represent any part of the new series: ships, characters, aliens, uniforms, equipment, sets, logos, advertising, merchandising, etc.

You don't necessarily have to present a final article your entry could be a set of design sketches just waiting for approval by the producers.


To ensure your inclusion in the final vote please e-mail your entries to Ptrope "at" gmail "dot" com by the end of the 30th April.

One of the cool features of the new BBS software, XenForo, is that you can "watch" a forum, to alert you whenever a thread is created in it.

I have the Fan Art forum watched just for this purpose. When the monthly contest poll threads are created, I'll get an alert, which makes it less likely for me to miss the contest poll (I have to be not logged in for that to happen)!
