"April 4th...The Day before First Contact."

Well, 54 years to go anyway....

Anyone else ever find themselves watching certain movies that tie into the actual date? Anyone make a little holiday out of it and watch First Contact on First Contact Day? (Or Voyager's Homestead if you want to get fancy)
I made it a point to watch all three Back to the Future movies on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015. Felt like the right thing to do after leading up to that date for almost 30 years.

More recently, I remember watching V for Vendetta In November after realizing it was November 5th, and someone made a reference to the movie.

Hopefully I will still be around when April 5th, 2063 rolls around, so I can plan on watching First Contact.

Anyone else finding themselves compelled to partake in such coincidental endeavours?

I did that, too. I was even able to time it out properly so that it was exactly 4:29pm when Doc Brown said, "We are descending towards Hill Valley, California, at 4.29pm, on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015." :D

Bahahaha I did the same thing! I timed it out the night before to get it right. I wore Marty's 2015 cap too during the whole movie.

TBH, the nerd in me felt slightly embarrassed, but it was totally awesome to do!

First Contact is a great film, but some parts don't age well. Worf's suit should self seal.

And when Geordi says, "You know? I wish I had a picture of this" regarding Cochrane standing where his statue would be--he should have just pulled out his PADD and taken a photo! Everyone has a camera on them in the 21st century, hard to believe Geordi wouldn't have one...
