Applecore! Omnivore! Who's your friend? Me!

How can someone with your avatar be considered even remotely deluded, J.?

*runs*

[chases macloudt across a jolly, happy land filled with sweet green grass, marshmallow clouds, bubblegum flowers, soda fountain waterfalls, and a lollipop yellow Sun]

Duuuude, what was in those brownies, man?

*searches for Cheetos*

Nothing! I'm just high on life*! :D

*Warning: Life may contain caustic chemicals and an unhealthy level of ennui.

I was vegan for about 6 years and felt guilt when I moved to just normal vegetarian a few years ago. I felt ashamed when I would tell people who weren't even veg. I felt even MORE ashamed when telling my online vegan community friends.

I can't foresee myself ever giving up vegetarianism myself since it's been 10-11 years now and my body is used to it. However, seriously don't let ANYONE tell you what you should eat. It's YOUR body and your life. No one should make you feel bad. It was your choice to go veg and it's your choice to go back.

I will probably go back. It's nice eating meat again, and it's much easier on the budget (which is extremely tight right now), but the feeling I get is frustrating. I won't lie, meat tastes good. That being said, I feel guilty about eating it because I don't like that animals have to die just so I can eat. Yeah, it's nature, but I am aware of it, and I don't like it.

Just eat whatever feels right to you at any given time. If you want to go back veg, that's your choice. Same as going back to meat. It's really no one else's business what you put in your mouth! :)

You're sweet. Thank you. :D

Just wanted to give my 2 cents because I felt a similar way. People looked down on me when I wasn't vegan anymore and started eating egg again, but I've stopped caring. It's really no one else's business! :) Same as meat-eaters who say veg is unhealthy and you shouldn't be veg or veggies who say you shouldn't eat meat, blah blah.

Amen.

You're not fooling anyone, you know. I remember Misc. Street too. Has Hippy Lady not been practicing? ;)

Perfection doesn't need practice. :shifty:

I never win.

By the way, this game is a great gateway to anxiety attacks! This and Operation!

I was going to say exactly that. I hated these games as a kid because they made me jump a mile, much to the amusement of my brothers.

I always hated any games that were stressful.

My favorite game was monopoly, I enjoyed being ruthless and was also a monopoly nerd who had memorized all the rules and did not allow any homemade deviations. No one liked playing with me. I was misunderstood. I had a book on the history of the game.

So you don't want to incur stress yourself, just cause it in others? Gotcha. ;)

Never judge someone until you've jumped a mile in his cheap board games.

Or something like that.

Oh, board games are fine. Heck, I learned to play canasta when I was five years old and couldn't hold 13 cards in my hands at once. Any game that makes a sudden loud noise or movement pushes me beyond the edge.

I'm fairly certain that many of the us from the past handful of generations suffer a form of Jack-in-the-box PTSD.
