Okay, not really.

Gotta love The Onion, though! ;-)

The real question, and topic for discussion is, what do you think the next big thing for computer design will be (if not the wheel)? I read about keyboards that would be nothing more than light rays reflected off of a surface, such as a table top - but that was quite a few years ago, and such a thing has yet to take off.

In my opinion the next thing will be touch screen PCs. Imagine one with all the gestures you can do on an iPhone.

As far as the onion goes, I love the print stuff but for some reason I just can't get into the video things they do...don't know why, just doesn't seem that funny.

Now unless Im completly wrong (and I guess will only find out by trying it personally) but that looks like it may be simpler than a keyboard but will take alot longer to type anything. That guy in the piece who said "I will buy anything shiny made by Apple" apparently spent 45 minutes typing out an email, I wonder how long it was in 45 minutes (taking into account getting used to how it works obviously).

Should have guessed something like this would come from Apple, I was hoping for a Tablet Mac however.

Nice start but I said one with the gestures you can do on the iPhone. Anything can have a touchscreen, my gps does, and it's no iPhone.

I have to say, that this really blows... I mean, you have to turn the freaking wheel, highlight the letter you want to type, and THEN press down to type it, LOL... yeah... that's WAY simpler than just typing the letter from the keyboard...

As for a MacBook with gestures... they're working on it...
