Apple admits iPhone's signal bars are BS. Worse than BP?

Anyway, on topic, the thing with Apple is that while their products are often very pretty, they do have a very Apple way of working which doesn't often match up with the way my own mind works. I've come to the conclusion I don't view the world the same way as most people do, because I've never felt the whole "Apple is very user-friendly/intuitive" thing. I much prefer HTC's own stuff when it comes to phones.

I've felt much the same way. I actually learned to use a computer on Macs, and I thought it was okay, but when we got our first PC a few years later I was amazed at how much more useable I found it to be.

Well, that's two of us against the rest of the human race. We just have special minds...

Make it three. The few times I've played around with a Mac I was surprised at how counter-intuitive I found it.

I hate Macs. My iPod touch was nice but my Droid can do all that and more and don't have to sync it with iTunes...I can just drag files directly onto the Droid as a removable drive. No fuss.

Just found it today.

As usual Apple is making a product that has one very good feature, amazing design and a top notch marketing campaign but neglects basic design and tech features so their products always come with a small shadow.

All of their good competitors make technically better products, i.e. cheaper and more features but they simply don't have the public image of Apple that draw thousands to their stores on release day and makes people take days off to "play" with their new gagdets they paid through the roof to get.

This is Apple and it is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

I keep seeing all of these articles pointing out the iPhone PR nightmare, and comparisons to Windows Vista and other product launch disasters of the past. I'm not sure if the latest iPhone is really that bad - there seem to be enough customers who are perfectly happy with the phone and have no problems with it. Still, it would be prudent of Apple to fix the reported hardware and software glitches ASAP before their pretty little image gets tarnished.

That's awesomely funny. Will probably work a treat, too.

Yeah, it works for them and you can't really argue with their revenue stream. It's some of their customers' mindsets I have more concerns about. Funnily enough, I was just writing about this earlier today.
