The rate you're improving, it won't be long before you can start posting stuff like this solely for the double-entendre value.

Well, it's time for probably the last update. The nurse said today that it looks like it's starting to scab over now, and they're reducing the visits to twice a week. So won't be long until it's totally healed. If that's the case it looks like I'm going to have an extra large belly button, but I can live with that

I imagine unless I'm up against someone who's had a massive stab wound, or had half their bowel removed, mine will win.Well done Bob. Another one for the Pub Scar Competition.

I haven't got the appendix back, although they did tell me if I want I can have the scar surgically repaired. I don't know what gives them the idea I would want to under go more surgery when any surgery at all is pretty much life threatening. But I guess there are some people out there who wouldn't want the scar there, but I don't really care, I show it to pretty much anyone who asks about it.
How old is she?You thought I had a second appendix removed?Didn't realise this was an old thread, so I was reading from the beginning and I got as far as you getting the vac-pack applied to your wound and I was thinking "damn, didn't that have to happen last time too?" which is when I thought to check the date...
Happy one year anniversary of life without your appendix, Bob!
