Posting this in general, not games, since Captain's Chair is not a game...

Anyone been able to run the program Captain's Chair program under Windows XP? It runs great under Windows 95, but does not under XP. I've already tried the common stuff like changing the compatability mode, etc. Anyone get this to work?

I had it on XP before and had the same problem with trying to play it, but since I've reformatted my PC I haven't tried re-installing it yet. Anyway I refer you to this post here where I asked the same question and got a good reply back.

Hey now, Captain's Chair was about as close as it got to a good game for a long while! ;)

But along with the link above you are likely to get the best advice in the gaming forum so I'll move this thread there.

I have never been able to get CC working on my desktop PC since i moved from ME to XP pro, no matter what i tried.....Only way i every got it working was partitioning my HD and putting ME and XP on it.

It worked but didn't last long as i just eventually moved on, simply to much hassle for one but of software.

If you are able to get it to run we'd love to have screenshots for the Star Trek gams image gallery. Could you grab a few for us?

I have it installed on my XP and it works without much difficulty. The only problem is that the video of the tour isn't as large as I'd hope.
