Anyone rewatching any old shows during quarantine?

An online inflation calculator I found on line, says that 6m in todays dollars is 28m dollars... However if you tried to repeat the experiment, upgrading a broken person, using 1976 tech, it's probably less than 1m.

Although, although, as a collectors item, how much is Steve Austin's corpse worth, if he's always been a secret agent that was never famous for being a cyborg?

My answer to that would be "it depends" if they wrote a story about Steve being dead I'd assume the government would confiscate any of his artificial parts leaving a disfigured corpse, the same for Jamie Somers the bionic woman.

Worse, if either of them died on a mission, their "parts" are going to be awarded to enemy soldiers, who then have to be mutilated.

It was like $200 worth of parts from Radio Shack. Labor was extra.

My son and I are just about finished with X-Files, after that who knows, maybe Stargate or Fringe or nuBSG.

Everyone I know keeps recommending me What We Do In The Shadows, I'm running out of polite ways to change the subject without letting them know I dislike it.

I might start Ozark next, there's nothing I'm watching now I haven't seen before except Killing Eve and The Good Fight, which has been over the top since last season.

I'd suggest meet some new people, but... yeah.

However it's 2020, fuck being polite.
I don't want to watch some stupid vampire show! I want to watch something good!

Vampire isn’t the problem for me, I’m rewatching Buffy at the moment.

Just comedies without rootable portags are a problem for me. Where everyone is dumb or a jerk.

If the joke is that everyone is stupid, I am not interested. Same reason I can’t get into Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

I just watched the first Ozark ep and it’s pretty awesome.

I just finished the DVD set of MARRIED WITH CHILDREN. First time seeing it. How I missed this show when it was on is a mystery to me.

Since I can't decide what series to re-watch next out of my vast DVD collection, I'm thinking of just watching random movies for a while. It's kind of silly really. I have a video collection of TV series, movies, old 1940s serials and documentaries large enough to start at least two cable stations, and I can't decide what to watch next.

You watched it on DVD and not Hulu? Hulu has the correct theme song with is like 90% of the experience of the show!

Picked up The Immortal on DVD. I don't recall ever seeing it before. So I'm watching Rat Patrol for breakfast and The Immortal for lunch, having a Christopher George festival.

Actually I was glad the DVD's replaced the original theme song from season three on. Usually, I'd agree that the original theme (whatever the show) is the best, but in this case, I never liked the "Love and Marriage" song. Even before it was associated with MARRIED WITH CHILDREN.
