hey guys, i've been looking around and can't seem to find anything.

does anyone know where i can find a .wav file that has the 'Security breach' and the borg alarm when harry beams over a torpedo? or when species 8472 begins to attack and the borg alarm is played in the background?

i found a collection, but not the alarm im looking for. if anyone else is interested:

I have been looking for the same .wav file. Have you been able to locate it?

would it be possible to send the link the Atlantis wav?..very interested in hearing it...but that Borg security breach alarm is pretty cool...

ou'd think that, but you'd be wrong, and not just because we don't ballyhoo as much as we used to, but because people just don't care about 'SNL' anymore.

I haven't tried any of these, but check this page at Trek Core.

You might try asking in the fan films section.

(geez I thought this was a new thread and almost deleted the post when I saw the original post date. thank goodness you bumped it yourself)

Wow...this thread is from 2010.

May I ask what you want it for? I'm a game developer and am prototyping a sort of star trek game just for myself. If I find one ill let you know!

Oh...I thought of something you can do.

Ok so play the scene that has the sound on your computer. Download one of the many free video-screencapping tools online (screencast-o-matic is one but once I get home I can give you others).

Capture the scene with the sound you want with the tool first and save it as a movie file (.mov). You can crop and edit the footage with these tools too.

If you don't already have a YouTube account, make one.

Upload the video with the sound to YouTube.

Then go to Google and search "convert YouTube video to mp3".

There are free tools that will convert your YouTube link to a sound file download-free.
I can give you links when I get home.

Download the sound file it generates and voila!

If you need to edit the audio, there are free audio edit programs out there such as Audacity.

This actually would take me maybe under 20 mins to do but I don't know exactly what scene its from Or where I could grab it from.

If you just need an audio file, you can do what I wrote (below).

It's more simple than it sounds.

If you tell me where you heard it and what scene it's from, I can even do for you if you want it that badly.
