Anyone know how to reach SPIKE's programming department?

I got the number for MTV Networks (believe it or not THAT's the division Spike comes under), and they gave me the number for Spike. I phoned there twice. The first time a woman told me she'd check for me, and put me on hold...leading to me getting disconnected. The second time I was put thru to their "stripping" person ("stripping" being a TV term for running an older show several times a week in the same timeslot).

The "stripping" person wasn't available and I got their voicemail.

I'm trying to find out if TNG is gone for good from Spike, or not.

Anyone know any other way to reack them or find out?

Hmmm I didn't know it was off. They stopped DS9 a while back, I hope that doesn't mean they're dropping TNG as well.
So much for my plans to do a poor man's DVD collection via DVR.

I was one season away from having all of TNG on DVD...same method you describe. Now I'll have to transfer some 10+ year old VHS tapes to disc for season seven.

It's not off yet, tho. This week is the last.

As for DS9, it never stopped. They just moved it to very early morning, but as of this coming week it'll air three times a week at 11am...still the same run that was going when they took it OFF the mid-morning timeslot.

Like I said in the other thread: when TNN (network before Spike) bought TNG it was for a five year block and cost them over 100 million USD just for TNG (not including DS9 and VOY). That was in 2002.

They've not renewed the contract apparently and that's probably why its been removed.

That last episode on Spike aired Thursday.
