no, the thingy from Descent that the individualists flew

IIRC, a screen readout during one of Voyager's Borg-related episodes showed that thingy to have been a multikinetic-neutronic-mine-or-whatever. Presumably Lore found one, took it over and retrofitted it into a starship; this does not seem entirely out of character. :)

Granted, only 7 different Borg ships have actually appeared onscreen with a couple of more implied, but I've always been intrigued by what people could come up with in trying to imagine different Borg ships down through the ages.

I'm more interested in a moratorium on any Borg stories for the next decade.

They're the superweapons of the Star Wars Expanded Universe

A VGR episode may have reused a shot of that miniature and labeled it as something different, but that doesn't mean you should take that reuse literally, any more than you should with any of the hundreds of other reuses of ship miniatures, FX shots, makeup designs, actors, costumes, etc. The idea of converting a mine into a starship makes no sense. A mine is a small thing that blows up. You can't retrofit a hand grenade into a truck.

To answer the original question, NO, from a creative stand point it's pretty rubbish (I never understood why the Borg had it's own subsection section in the alien ships section in the Star Trek Fact Files a few years back) from a marketing standpoint it's equally as rubbish given that non fiction trek books struggle to make large enough sales and I fail to think of a desent way to actually sell the concept, plus I'm sure all the information on Borg ship designs can be found either online, or in books, so, if you really want this resourse at your disposal, print off all the relivant pieces, but it in a binder or something similar and bobs your uncle, you'll have it.
