That other alien languages had been fleshed out like the Klingons? I'd love if they put out a Vulcan Language dictionary.
:vulcan:

Heck NO! It's bad enough that there's one for Klingons....

Sure.

Didn't they so something similar for the Romulan language in the new film? I think one of the Rommie henchman mentioned having a linguist on set.

Since we got a Dominion-ese taste in Statistical Probabilities, I'd like more... if Taran'atar in Abyss is any indication, I could start telling people off and they couldn't be offended... :p

I think the issue on a Vulcan dictionary is the fact that there are some Vulcan words that humans cannot pronounce. Thus, it would be much more of a theoretical exercise than Klingon, and maybe not as much fun for people so inclined. I would enjoy harassing dudes dressed as Vulcans at Trek conventions to see if I could get them to crack a smile, become pissed off or use Earth slang, though.

Ohh yeah, I definitely would like to see more Trek languages.

I'm actually working on one, myself, for the Cardassians. (You can check out both links in my sig for more details.)

Has anyone else here actually worked actively on a Trek-related conlang? (Or any conlang, for that matter?)
