Anyone else ticked that there's no DVD yet?

I know this is going WAY overboard. I mean, the movie (for the most part) hasn't been RELEASED yet. Still, I get this feeling that once I've seen the movie, I'm going to want to own a copy IMMEDIATELY.

Maybe the reports of it being released on disc in July aren't all that far fetched? Maybe they KNOW what a hit they have, and KNOW people will want it as soon as possible?

I don't know. Of course I will want to get the DVD. But what I want now is simply to enjoy this movie on the big screen. There's just no better way to enjoy a movie. And I'm planning on seeing this one more than once. So, as far as I'm concerned, the DVD can wait. :)

I remember catching Fellowship of the Ring in the theater. Then catching it again. And again. And again. And...

Well I thought, ok I've seen it X amount of times, I should get a free DVD and I shouldn't have to wait. I earned it

There's just no better way to enjoy a movie.

Considering the fact that people nowadays are coming to the cinema simply stuff their faces with corn and to check their cellphone instant messages...

I'm so glad I've seen Wrath of Khan in cinema before this stupid trend found its way to my country.

*GULP GULP* "...buried alive..." *MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH* "Khaaaaaaan!" *MUNCH munch* "Toodle doodle doo, you got a message." *GURGLE* "I have been..." *BURP* "...always shall be your fri..." *BEEP BEEP* "Mommy, I gotta pee..." *MUNCH MUNCH* "Young. I feel young."

Seriously, people, why would you ever want to pay for -that-? :p

At this point, seeing any movie in Blu-Ray on my 52 inch screen with my home theater sound system is better than any theater experience. Sure, my home theater isn't high end...but it's people free and the couch sure is comfy.

So, I don't go to the theater anymore unless I want to support the movie on principle. That being said, I plan on seeing JJ's Trek 3 times in the theatre and buying the blu-ray a.s.a.p.
