Anyone Else Sick?

Taylirious

I have been sick for 2 weeks, Doc said it is just allergies...plus I have had bronchitis more times than I can count...guess that makes it chronic lol. I don't have the flu or swine flu thank goodness.

S.

Not sick, per se, but my sinuses have been giving me no end of trouble this past year, and it's terribly uncomfortable at times.

Oh, and welcome to the board!

J.

Sick? Sick of life? SIck of putting up with people's shit? O yes.

Aside from that, I'm fine, thanks for asking. :)

Hope you get better soon. Allergies are no fun.

I wonder if it's possible to get allergic to something later in life when you had no previous allergy before?

J.

Thanks! I keep seeing the mold count is high in my area now and for the last couple of weeks...The worst of it is over, still have a rough cough.

I think so. You might want to ask your doctor though..I'm no expert.
I'm not sick per se, but my allergies/sinuses have been giving me fits lately. And I'm getting sick of people's crap as well..it literally comes in threes(the bad crap!)!!

Yes. With the flu. Also it's that time of the month. And I have allergies. But it's nothing that a bar of chocolate and a cosmo won't cure.

And yeah J., it's totally possible to develop allergies. Most of my allergies developed when I was in high school. There was a time when I could go outside more than ten minutes!

Been sick for almost a week now. Some damned respiratory infection... I'm just glad its sticking to my air passages. Seems to be on its way out now, but back when it was going strong I blew my damn nose so much that my upper lip has now dried out and cracked to the point where it resembles that of The Mouth of Sauron.

Yep. Up until my mid-30s, I didn't have any allergies. Since then I've developed a dust and pollen allergy. Fairly mild, but pretty annoying when the nose suddenly runs like a tap. Mucous is not my friend. :)

I'm sick... and, so they say, twisted.

As for physical sickness, yes I have been unwell this week with a "viral infection," they're calling it. :bolian:

I'm always sick. I have a post-nasal drip 24/7 and I have no idea what's causing it. It's not allergies or anything environmental but doctors will still only prescribe me antihistamines and steroids (neither of which help) and tell me to go away as opposed to actually helping and referring me to someone who has a clue what they're doing.

Oh and right now I've got the worst eye pain you can imagine, it feels like there's a ton of pressure on top of it and whenever change my focus or move it, I get lightning-like flashes in it.

It is very possible.

That said, no, I'm not sick, and I haven't been sick in a couple years. I like that about myself.

Ah, thank you folks. :D

I am now officially angry at my sinuses and have commanded them to no longer be allergic. I will test their obedience by stopping and smelling the roses.

J.

Been sick for over a week now. It's mold allergies, which are really bad since it's been raining and humid a lot lately.

I bought 2 dehumidifiers for my house, and it's made being home a lot more desirable. The problem now is I don't want to leave home to go out into the bad moldy infested air.

I have had a cold for a while now. Every time I cough my friend says "SWINE FLU!" It's starting to get old.
