Anyone else looking forward to The Office this week?

Lately I haven't seen many posts about the recent season of the Office so I thought I'd start a quick post.

So this is the big week, the "happy ending" as NBC has been advertising it. We finally see the culmination of the will they won't they relationship of Jim and Pam. I love the ads they've been playing with Jim's speech at what looks like the rehearsal dinner about waiting for the time to be right for him and Pam, and how he always knew she was 'the one' for him.

I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how they handle the Michael and Dwight situations after Phyllis's wedding. Hopefully they don't give Michael the opportunity to get anywhere NEAR a microphone at the reception.

So...is anyone else looking forward to Thursday? Lately I've been skipping watching the Office on Thursdays because Supernatural needs the viewers (and NBC is A LOT quicker about getting episodes online) but I'm making an exception this week.

I always look forward to the Office. I didn't know that the wedding was happening this soon I figured they'd wait until the end of the season since they've barely shown them planning for it. I actually hope they DON'T get married for some funny reason (probably Michael's fault) and it gets postponed to the season finale when Pam is huge and it's much more embarrassing.

I've only started watching The Office this week. I'm midway through the third season and trying to get caught up sometime this season.

I'm really getting sick of the "will they/won't they" dynamic in scripted shows. I will be seriously pissed if something screws up their wedding, casting doubt on their relationship. Especially since they've had a really steady relationship since they got together. The few "problems" that they encountered were dealt with or ignored.

It's not that I don't want to see conflict, but I want to see them respond to it in a mature, loving, and comedic manner, not use it to break them apart.

Like Mr. Light, I always look forward to The Office. I love the show--it's just plain fun. And I love Jim and Pam together... they defy the old stereotype that couples aren't interesting once they get together. I really enjoy them together, and think there are a lot of fun storylines that have come out of them getting together.

I'm excited about the wedding. :D

I hate that stereotype. My wife and I have been married for 8 years now and believe me, there's plenty of fodder here for interesting comedy and drama based on our relationship!
