Anyone else having Photobucket Problems?

Ok, just curious, is anyone else having photobucket problems? Trying to access the site for the past week or two has been a freaking nightmare. I swear the old BBS, on its slowest day, used to load faster than photobucket does now. Am I the only one having this problem?

I am running Vista with AVG 8.0 (full edition). The only thing on AVG that I could think of that would be slowing photobucket down was the 'web shield'. But when I turned it off I saw no appreciable gain. THis problem is with both IE and FF.

It was low about an hour ago, but then picked back up to normal speed.

I'm using Firefox on a Mac running Tiger, though.

I've been thinking Photobucket has been a lot faster lately. I haven't had any problems with it.

The thing I've found in the free version of AVG 8.0 which really bogged things down was the link scanner. I'm on a machine which is not too speedy and has limited RAM so that feature was killing me; disabling it brought me back up to near where I'd been before the upgrade. (XP and Firefox 2)

I hadn't noticed a particular problem with Photobucket, though; they've been slow since they added all of the bells and whistles a few months back, but it does seem to have been improving recently.

Thanks. I disabled both the link scanner and Web Shield and it is now working like a champ!
