I just like building the city. I have a feeling that once other people get involved, I'm not going to like it so much.
Of course, I'm also getting tired of the 'watch a timer countdown' type of game. I go here, upgrade a hall, wait an hour, go to Mafia Wars, do a job, wait 22 hours for an energy pack, go to the Brute game, wait a day for more fights....

My prestige is 94388, I'm ranked 2163 on server 5, I'm highest ranked in my alliance.

I have a pretty active alliance with enough members who play seriously and role play a bit, so getting into the chat and helping attack and defend and trade tips and resources keeps it fun.

I just plundered millions in resources while I was out, over 1.2 million gold alone. I just sent three armies to raid NPC towns and went out for the evening.

The more I spend on this game the better it gets, it has a lot of complexity to it that takes a while to learn. I'm part of a very good Alliance which helps a lot.

So I built up a decent city, developed a huge army, sent them after a little NPC town nearby and they proceeded to wipe out the enemy army, but be cut down by archer towers and traps.

My city is "Andor" in Lombardy, if anyone would like to invite me to this TBBS alliance I've heard talk of. I'm still a fresh young city though, been playing for all of 10 minutes. Seems like something I could get into...

The same thing happened to me. I'm still trying to rebuild me army.

I went back in after a brief hiatus, I made it into a top 10 alliance (Twilight) just after I got plundered by it's allies.

Ah, Fruitopia had to leave Bohemia when a level 9 city appeared off her port bow and proceeded to plunder her.
I did manage to take out most of their army, however. Just not the plundering units....

J, when did you start having your virus trouble? I had my first trojan attack in years....and I'm starting to wonder about this game. It is made by Chinese gold farmers.....
