Anybody Ment/Or Like To Meet A Actor From TOS

Since I did this one for the Star Trek XI thread, I thought I do one for this one too. Anybody here have ment an actor from TOS? Or if you haven't, who would you like to meet?
As for me I actually ment William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. I ment both of them at the Vegas convetion in August. I got autographs from them, and even a picture taken with them as well. I didn't get the chance to really say anything because the crouds and everything was fast past. But I did get to say that I thought they were great and were my favorites. And they did say thank you, so I take that as thier apercation for being there, and for fans. I hope if I get the chance next time I get to say more. But nietherless I think they are great people, and they aprecatie thier fans regardless of how crazy things like the convetion are. So all in all, it was well worth money and traveling the distance to go to that. I very much plan on going next year if I have I the money to.

I am assuming that every time you used the word ment, you really meant to use met? Your post is nigh unreadable otherwise...

Grammer. It's my thing.

^^ My list of autographs, which has the secondary purpose of detailing whom I've met of the lot.

At the moment, that's a nice round figure of 60 actors - all but 2 from Trek.

I've had brief, in-passing encounters with most. More memorable ones with about a quarter. I've got good stories I could tell, but they're all bound up in my brain.

I've met George Takei and have hung out with a number of actors (Jeffrey Combs, Tony Todd) who have clocked in guest starring appearances at one time or another.

I still want to meet Nimoy, Stewart, Shatner and the like, and I'll always regret never being able to meet Kelley.

Connor Trinneer *sigh* :) several times (including a private wine and cheese party with 7 other fans at the recent Parsippany, NJ Creation con).
Dominic Keating
Scott Bakula
Jolene Blalock
Anthony Montgomery
John Billingsley

Leonard Nimoy
Walter Koenig
George Takei
Nichelle Nichols

Kate Mulgrew
Robert Picardo
Ethan Phillips
Jennifer Lien

Guest actors
William Schallert
Antoinette Bower
Celeste Yarnall
Jeffrey Combs
JG Hertzler
Robert O'Reilly
Robin Curtis
Suzie Plakson

I'm not sure this is a complete list... so I may update this...

I've met George Takei and James Doohan at separate cons, George in 1981 and Doohan about ten years later. Both were warm and seemed genuinely pleased to be there.

Takai
Keonig
Nichols
Doohan (Short phone conversation at a radio call-in show)

William Windom (Decker from Doomsday Machine)

and a bunch of others from the other shows, but I'm too tired to type now.

This is not a TOS actor - in fact, TOS is the only form of Trek this actor has NOT appeared in - but I would like to meet Vaughn Armstrong. He is not only my favorite Trek actor, but my favorite actor of any form. I thought he should have been given a role in ST XI, since as I said he has never done TOS. Although he has appeared in all other forms of Trek.

The most famous person I've ever met is a prominent newscaster and his dog. x)

I'd of course like to meet any Trek actors, but I would really love to meet Mr. Nimoy. He strikes me as being a very special person, a unique soul. Also he is so supportive of the arts and theatre, and seems like a genuinely nice man.

Takei is a sweetie and really smart. I met him in an elevator at a con awhile back and had a great conversation about philosophy and politics.

I did meet Gene Roddenberry and I have to say he was really sweet and what struck me is he didn't speak above a whisper.

A friend of mine was groped (yep, groped, by James Doohan). I couldn't believe he did it either, but sure enough...

She told him "I don't care if you're Chief Engineer of the Enterprise, you learn to keep your hands to yourself!" It was pretty funny.

Unfortunately, I haven't met any Trek actors. I'd love to meet Leonard Nimoy, Nichelle Nichols, and... since you posted this in General, not TOS... Patrick Stewart and Michael Dorn.

Met Shatner and Doohan on the set of ST IV. Was taping a piece for the California Wildlife Preservation Fund (or something like that) and Bill did a short video piece for them. In our spare time I got to hang with "Scotty."

I'll always regret never being able to meet Kelley.

Me too. I would have loved that.

I met Robin Curtis on my birthday in 1994. It was a surprise arranged by my mom. We got several pictures together, and spent a few minutes chatting before she had to go on stage. Later, she got the entire convention to sing Happy Birthday to me. Nice lady.

I road in an elevator with Jeffery Combs. We were the only two in it for 15 floors. He looked very uncomfortable. Almost like a trapped animal, looking down and trying to hide his face so I would not recognize him. I don't know if he had a bad experience with a fan at some point but I want away with negative feelings, and wondering if I smelled.

On the other hand, meeting Connor Trinner at the same con was positive. He extended his busy day to come sign autographs for a few of use that had scheduling conflicts and never got to stay in his autograph line.

Yep. Too many to list here, but for the most part, they're all nice, down to earth sorts of people. Not counting Shatner, whom I've only met once and who was a complete jerk.

I met Nimoy and Shatner at the Las Vegas convetion last month. I feel lucky that I got to meet them! I didn't get much of chance to say anything because of the croud lines, but at least I still got to meet them. I wouldn't mind of meeting Kelly, that's if he was alive. I like him just like Shatner and Nimoy. I thought Kelly did a amazing job as McCoy, too bad I will never get to meet him. At least I still might have a chance to meet the new McCoy (Urban). I really hope I get that chance someday to meet him. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
