The next Xena 20th Anniversary video is from the ep that has my fav season 3 line... "I sleep next to Xena."

This one doesn't focus on Xena or Gabrielle which is a shame, but I'm adding it for completeness sake.

To "make up" for the last one's guest star, here's another recurring guest important enough for a vid celebrating his contribution to the series.

Although technically its more a "19th" anniversary video than a 20th. ;)

Ohhh, here's another "19th anniversary" video from this same vidder's collection with a "worthy" quest star.

Callisto. :bolian:

Here's another fan's hopeful homage to the idea of a Xena revival of the franchise.

He's (?) used a muddy photo from the Ash Vs Evil dead promotion to signify an older Xena... I think I would have chosen something from 2009's nuBSG or The L Word instead, but that's just me. :p

I like it for the blurbs ahead of the "trailer", even if Kryss K (or Hitflix?) can't spell chakram.

Strangely enough, again it's the blurbs I like best, this time coming after the vid "ends", in the credits. :vulcan:

This interview is mostly Ash v ED... but the final question is about the possible Xena reboot.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/la-ca-st-fall-tv-lucy-lawless-20150913-story.html

Saturn 5 (?) mentioned the propane tanks early in this thread, but I could never see them when I rewatched "Girls..."

Until today. :techman:

Renee laughing in bed with Kevin and Lucy is easier to see in the show than in the clip, but it is one of my fav moments in the series.

Ares: "I'm in Tarturas." :guffaw:

The roll out of the Bit@ch of Rome vids celebrating Xena's 20th anniversary continues today.

This one dedicated to Kevin Smith, may he rest in peace.

Lucy's interview in the previous post continues to sound her opinion re the central theme of Xena was the relationship between Xena and Gabrielle.

TV Legends must be capitalizing on the recent Xena craze and have released a portion of a longer Lucy interview detailing her discussion of this relationship.

Here's the whole interview.

Once again I thought I'd already posted this ^^in the last few month's but I couldn't find it on a quick run through of the last 4 pages.

Am I allowed to say that Lucy Lawless cracks me up? :rommie:

I don't know who these guys are... "Out Of the Mouths of Babes"... but they are posting edits of Q&A 's with various stars/writers for XWP (among others) this month.

Here's the teaser for "season 2" with Lucy disputing Alex Tydings that makes me laugh.

"Well... not Aids... I'm just saying." ;)

Ok, I guess "these guys" are actually Adrienne Wilkinson (Livia/Eve) and crew doing "man in the street" interviews with fellow actors/writers et al.

AW's message at the end of "season 1".

Her colleagues' thoughts on "love".

I think the director needs to separate Lucy and Alex.

If you want to buy Lucy's robe from Xena... the price has gone up.

http://charity.ausxip.com/auction_details.php?auction_id=102425#067c7a125aac

4047 was the last bid in New Z's currency, that's 2591 in US dollars.

Hey, its for a good cause, right? :bolian:

Here's the latest offering from BoR in their salute to the 20th Anniversary of Xena.

With regards to the song choice, I have a real hard time looking at either of these women as "one man's trash..." as the early verse seems to suggest.

I do appreciate the song's eventual decision that these two are a "hard to find double rainbow".

A top 10 list.

My fav hug is the Ring trilogy one... my fav freeze frame, however, is the hug from the "Footloose" episode .

If we are doing the X&G theme, then how about the highest viewed yt video?

"For Good". :bolian:

I liked the poster's comment that searching for Wicked vids 6 years ago lead her to this one, which lead her to the to the XWP tv series and a new life long fandom.

If NBC wants to reboot XWP in the modern era... one wonders what "career" the new Xena will sport. :vulcan:

http://www.dailydot.com/geek/geek-tv-show-renewal-infographic/

Will she be a corporate leader early in life, one who's company despoils the environment or kills innocent people like the Bhopal India gas tragedy in 1984, the Jilin City, China chemical plant explosions in 2005, or something less dramatic but even more deadly, the effects of all the lead poisoning from "e-waste" on today's children of Guiyu, China.

A despondent Xena then leaves corporate and searches for a way to redeem her past sins, by righting environmental wrongs, by standing up for the little guy being run over by big business, by protecting an all girls school from acid attacks and its children from sex trade enslavements.

Maybe someone like ... http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/wor...-for-bringing-end-to-shells-arctic-oil-search ...? ;)

Somewhere along the way, Xena meets with another would be crusader who's doing her best to stand against those who abuse their fellow man. :)

Wouldn't it be nice, if this next article had to be amended to include a rebooted XWP???? :bolian:

Kevin was amazing as Ares! You could never tell whose side he was on. I can't believe it's been 13 years:(

Yea he was! He kicked ass! Still miss him :(. Neither can I. He was one really good actor. I shipped Ares and Xena back in the day tbh. They had such good chemistry :).

Yes, I watched it. It was pretty good. I see what some of your mean, when you say it could go back and forth from really serious comedy to almost slapstick humor.

Hey and Karl Urban (Dr. McCoy from the Trek reboots) was a frequent guest star. Most playing Julius Caesar, but there were a couple of others.

Heck loved seeing Lucy Lawless on the X Files :). She did one heck of a job as a supersoldier (iirc).

Did you ever watch the Ronald D. Moore Battlestar Galactica, or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? She was only a couple of AoS episodes, but she did a whole bunch of BSG.
She's also going to be reuniting with EPs Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, and co-star Bruce Campbell for the new TV series Ash vs The Evil Dead later this year on Starz.

I meant serious drama, not serious comedy.
