Any old timers still around?

He was the all-time most prolific until he was finally banned, then I remember Huntingdon holding the honor for a while. The Starfish was the board's top poster for a good span of time around the middle of the last decade.
From Enterpriser to eddie. TBBS can't claim much, but it can say it's actually made some worthwhile progress.
Yeah, Hunt was very active and then he got a high profile job and got too much to do to hang around here. Enterpriser did walk that tightrope for a looong time. I remember being stunned that he was banned in the end.

Shameless was everywhere at one point, spamming up the Flaptains and Rear like there was no tomorrow. I know, because we did it together. It was Liz, Angry Angel, Kevin Thomas Riley, Hunt, Orac Zen, Spider, DAK, KitKat, and now I'm sure I've forgotten people. Ghost. We were a bunch who completely rioted in Flaptains one Saturday evening/night in 2004. I think I posted more than 200 posts that evening and the mods got a bit of a shock when logging in. Completely insane. Personally I blame Monty Python. It was all their fault. :borg:

I miss Kevin Thomas Riley. Spider still pops up every now and then with his usual old man and drinking shenanigans, still lovable as ever.

Spider is like your crazy drunk uncle who shows up on holidays to spice things up.

I love Spidey. Remember when his avatar guy had red thongs on his helmet? Hilarious.

I sort of miss KTR too, but I discovered who he is IRL and got me a shock I haven't recuperated from. Not going to tell anyone, so don't even ask. Besides, it would only mean something to a fellow Swede.

We should petition for a new telly series. That should get this place hopping in no time. :borg:

We should at least find a way to get the famous BBS episode "The Interregnum" filmed. That alone would give the Enterprise forum about a year's worth of glorious material.

She is of the Body.

*DANG*

Now I have to put on that episode :klingon:

You're saying that as if it were a bad thing. :D
I was watching something else!!!

Those lounges were hilarious back in the day. I miss them. The Admiral's Lounge is a snooze fest.

But they had some quite fine propaganda at some point, we all did go to the very limits of what was allowed, spamming up the board in order to get access to it :rommie:

The Admiral's Lounge is a snooze fest.
The Flaptains Lounge is currently dead as well. Gotta do some recruiting next week.

Start a lounge-war ;)

Well, actually no. It's me playing with a word, nothing else. There are several words for wolf in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian, one being ulv. Hang an a on that (ulva) and it becomes a female wolf, the way a child would feminise something. So no lettuce or body parts or even that Scottish island named Ulva.

Mulva?

Honestly, that was my first thought as well....

It did here on one of the obscure cable channels, which is the reason why I didn't catch it. We had it, but it usually only aired crap, so I rarely watched that channel.

Frankly, I don't think you missed much. I never saw what the big deal was. "Something about nothing" is still nothing.

Those were some good times.

We really should start another lounge war. Those are always fun.

true but to that end we'd have to reactivate the lounges which atm are rather dead.
How about Olympic Lounge games? All lounges competing against each other would increase traffic, be fun and keep Orac awake, heehee. That'll teach him to complain about the silence *snicker*
