Any old timers still around?

I haven't used ICQ in years. I couldn't tell you the last time I signed in but I'm pretty sure George W. Bush was still in his first term in office if that says anything.

Same here. Incredibly I can still remember my account number and password. I just downloaded ICQ and installed it and was able to sign in. Clearly my endeavor to wipe out all my functioning brain cells by drinking copious amounts of beer is not working.

I'm member #405 if that says anything about my longevity on the boards. All the three- or even two-digit posters have silver hair and need to log off in time for Matlock reruns.

Now turn down that music!

I'm right behind you at 416! Of course when it comes to post counts I'm waaaaaayyyy behind you.

And I'd hate to change topics from such an engrossing conversation, but I was talking to a friend of mine last night, and I told him about the time spider1 got super fucking drunk and dropped the "banne" on the admiral's lounge. And how another lounge moderator (I wanna say ... Captain Ice?) stayed up for hours un-banne-ing us. Good times.

I remember that ... fun times. It was I was living in Bondi, and I wasn't online as much as I am now. I remember having to use an internet cafe to access the net.

Also, kinder off topic - I found the last report I did when I did the top 50 posters with Emh's comments. Most of them aren't saved, as they were an old computer that I don't have anymore.

It was usually the same people at the top on that list.

Wasn't Enterpriser always at the top of that most posts list?

He was the all-time most prolific until he was finally banned, then I remember Huntingdon holding the honor for a while. The Starfish was the board's top poster for a good span of time around the middle of the last decade.

From Enterpriser to eddie. TBBS can't claim much, but it can say it's actually made some worthwhile progress.

Thanks. I guess.

Wait, aren't we still legally required to call him "He Who Must Not Be Named"?
