Any New Drawings Of The Marshall-class Destroyer?

Hi, all. Have any of you here ever tried drawing your own personal interpretation of the Earth 'hammerhead'-style Romulan War-era Marshall-class Destroyer? That is to say, have any of you given it your own 'tweaks'? Like making it look more 'cylinder-like' the way the Earth ships look at the Starfleet Museum, or even just adding Daedalus-type engines to it, for instance? I read somewhere that this design is sometimes regarded as "The Akira of the Earth-Romulan War"-- is that a good remark, or is it an awkward invite to flamewars? Just curious about this curious ship, and what some of you artists would envision it to be. Thanks.

The fat ships in the Starfleet Museum were designed with the idea that they needed to maximize internal volume for carrying a large of amount of fuel to power their less-efficient fusion engines. The ships of the Spaceflight Chronology are powered by antimatter, so look very different. I'm not sure the two technologies can be combined.

Thanks for the replies. Masao, the 'fat ship' description you gave makes a good deal of sense. There less efficient, so they are like "a large fuel tank with a ship built around it". Sonic, the site you gave me was a dead end '404', sorry. I hope there are some more opinions out there.

If you shave off all but www.fleetyard.net on the link above, you discover Mr. Doddema has chosen June 12th to bin the existing content of the site and restart it as a blog. I saved that Marshall class drawing years ago but that was a drive or two back.
