Are there any good miniatures of the ships from this film out yet? I wanna avoid the Playmates one, since I was always less than impressed with Playmate's past works.

I think there are only two.
Both are of the Enterprise.
1. The Hot Wheels one. Which I haven't found yet.
2. The one that comes with the DVD or Blu-Ray at Target(U.S.) or in certain other countries.
By the way the Playmates Enterprise is actually quite good. It's already fully assembled and painted. If you can manage to find it on clearance you could get it for less than $15.

Yeah, everyone has the Enterprise now and there are doubtless going to be more in all kinds of scales.
However, Federation Models has a 6-inch Kelvin which they're calling the "Federation Deep Space Scout" under the "Gizmotron" section. Only place that has it that I'm aware of in that size that isn't a fan-made one-off. Granted, it's not considered licensed, but the better miniatures rarely are now-a-days. Look for it towards the bottom of the page:
