Any good Black Friday stories?

Now, I am looking online for a 58" or 63" plasma

Are trying to build a private theater?:eek:

I didn't know they built TVs this big yet for normal use..

They certainly do! As I said, I have a 50" plasma and like anything you get used to it. I have an Onkyo 700 watt, 7.1 THX surround and a Samsung Blu Ray player to finish it off. It does make movie night interesting!

I once saw an 80-some inch rear-projection HDTV.

The thing was a monster. But oh-so gorgeous. I masturbated to that baby. I mean...

I have a Mitsu HC1500 projector on the ceiling. Throws a 95" picture on the wall.

The fact that someone hired indirectly through a temp agency was unlocking the door is despicable. With customers waiting outside like that the store's general manager should had been wielding the keys. If the general manager was required to do that task, what are the odds that uniformed private guards wouldn't be controlling the crowd.

There are ways of marketing a limited quantity of deeply discounted items without inciting such a rush to enter the store:

Pass out claim slips to the people at the head off the line before the doors are unlocked. Before passing out the tickets make it very clear that any disorderly behavior will result in the deeply discounted items and/or the claim slips for them being saved for another day.

Distribute tickets to all the customers in line before the doors open. A random drawing determines which customers are allowed the deep discounts. You could even wait until the customers are inside the store seeing all the tempting displays of other merchandise.

The point would be getting a large number of people in the store without giving the first few dozen customers in the door that extra economic advantage. It's that rush to be among the first few customers inside that incites stampedes. Corporate, regional and store management should be held legally accountable for this tragedy.

But there's a big difference netween a plasma and an LCD, which I assume is what you saw. You could go out now and buy a 70" lcd hd 1080p for about 2k or so. I believe 63" is the current top plasma size, unless you want the 103" or 150" plasma from Panasonic. A tad out of my budget though!

Blah blah blah Plasma blah LCD blah 70" LCD HD blah 1080p blah 2k blah 63" blah blah blah 103" or 150" blah Panasonic blah blah blah!

I'm glad you sheep are installing the biggest devil's tabernacles credit can buy.

Come Carnaval, we'll have a nice warm circus fire.
