Do you think there still a chance we might get to see the first days of the Island itself, where it all began, the original natives and how the Others came to the Island, namely Richard Alpert and whoever were with him or will this always be left as a mystery or only revealed in conversation?

I've been hoping for such an event since season two.
I guess it depends on what the island is. If ti's a natural occurring phenomena then there wouldn't be much to see in a flashback to the "beginning" since it would just be an empty island with no one on it.
On the other hand, if an Alien spaceship crashed on the island 20,000 years ago then that might be something to show.

I think we'll get most of the island's history but I don't think it's be through anything as clumsy or as ham-fisted as an "Island Episode." I used to think that was a distinct possibility but I think now it'll be revealed in a way we probably haven't even though of yet. The producers have been promising a Rousseau flashback since Season 3 and who could have possibly guessed that it would happen the way it did?
What? At the time of the show, Atlantis was in the Pegasus galaxy. So it couldn't be.
