Asking for medical advice on TrekBBS may not be the smartest idea, but I don't really know who else to ask and a google search was unproductive (seems there are conflicting opinions about it).
About a week ago I had a throat infection and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics, which worked great and after a few days the symptoms went away. There were 30 pills in the box, I was supposed to take one 3x a day - which I did - and there are now 4 left (I didn't start in the morning). I know that you're supposed to "eat" the whole box to prevent the bacteria from developing a resistance, but I'm planning on getting wasted tomorrow night.
So I'd like to know if I should stop taking the pills, or maybe just take one in the morning and not the rest of the day or continue taking the pills on the last day although I'm going to consume significant amounts of alcohol? Does it matter in regards to antibiotics-resistance if there are a couple pills left?
