Antagonists Poll, season 2

EMHMark613

Commodore
Commodore
* notice how I changed the title from enemies poll to antagonists poll. Tha's because in many episodes, the antagonist is not an enemy (ie Kosinski from season 1)

Anyways, Lore made it close, but fell 6 votes shy of tying Q for the season 1 enemy/antagonist.

You'll have another chance to vote for Lore in the season 4 poll.

But getting back to the second season, please vote for the 2 antagonists who you found to most annoy the crew. Who got under the skin of any/all of the crew's skin?

Because Q won season 1, he will not be in subsequent seasons!

Also, in the Voyager enemies Poll, Akiraprise asked the question:
Was Seska the most evil antagonist in Season 2?

I won't be asking that for any of the enemies/antagonists.

So, vote for 2

Also, if I miss anyone in the poll, please let me knwo but I will not make a new one.

I'm voting for Moriarty and the Borg

i went with maddox and the borg.

i never liked moriarty. there was never a thing done with the moriarty character that wasn't done earlier and better (not to mention a LOT more succinctly) with mcnary's "will my wife and kids still be there when i get home?" in "the big goodbye."

Moriarty and Maddox. I'll vote for the Borg in Season 3 in the unlikely event that they don't run away with this season.

BTW, you did miss a noteworthy antagonist--Dr. Ira Graves, who took over Data's body in "The Schizoid Man".

Maddox and the Borg for me as well.

The Borg are pur evil, and Maddox wanted to dissect our beloved Data.

I realized that after I made the poll and after people started voting.

So what I'll do is before I start each poll, I will make a list of enemies/antagonists for the poll, andif I'm missing anyone, add it.

You could throw him in with Season Three, but I seriously doubt he'd be a threat to the Borg anyway.

This is what I have as the antagonists for season 3 (it looks like the Borg will walk away with season 2, so they will not be in the next one). If anyone has suggestions about what I should add or remove. The next poll will go up tomorrow.

Wes Crusher's Nanites - Evolution

Roga Danar - Angosian renegade - The Hunted

The Klingons - Yesterday's Enterprise
Duras - Sins of the Father
aliens - Alligiance
Sovak - Ferengi - Captain's Holiday

Sarek's emotions - Sarek
Tog - Ferengi DaiMon - Menage a Troi
Dr. Farek - Menage a Troi
Sunad - Zalkonian Commander - Transfigurations
Locutus - Best of Both worlds 1+2

Well, that's it--my mission is to see that "Sarek's emotions" make it all the way through to be voted the greatest antagonist in all of Trek!

Seriously, some of these get a little vague...the one above, and "The Klingons" for one particular episode, when there are so many individual Klingon antagonists throughout the series. If it were my call, I'd limit it to identifiable characters. You didn't include the disease in "Shades of Gray" in the Season 2 poll, for example...nor the "Contagion" virus.

Sarek's emotions shouldn't qualify as an antagonist. I thought we were going for actual entities? If you insist on having one for that episode, either Sarek himself or Bendii Syndrome would be more accurate.

I definately find it peculiar that the Klingons are unnamed and lumped together as one group, while Locutus - who is literally just a mouthpiece of the Borg - is singled out as an individual.

For 'Sins of the Father' Duras, a quite important recurring TNG villain with a very important legacy, should be singled out.

regarding the Klingons, Akiraprise put "The Vidiian Race" in the second season Voyager poll...so why not put "The Klingons" in this poll?
