I suspect the Yellowjacket suit is the more modern version.

Today has been quite a day for the reveals of live-action Marvel characters. Today has seen reveals for Daredevil, The Vision, The Thing, and now... Yellowjacket!

Yes, this version of Yellowjacket is specific to the film.
Of note, in the current Ant-Man ongoing Darren Cross has been brought back. He had been dead, but you know how that goes in comics.

We got a good chunk of the story there as well as action and I was impressed! The humor felt solid in there also.
It's not an "end of the world" story so I like that cause coming off of Age of Ultron it would just feel a let down if Ant-Man were saving the world when it just took a team of heroes to do similar.
The smaller scope, no pun intended, makes for a nice change up for this next Marvel Studios installment.

I think this could surprise some folks, me I'm ready!

they certainly did a fine job of selling the size changing aspect with this trailer. something that was a little absent from the first. that bit with the trains was great.

That was a pretty great trailer. We got a nice look at some of the actions scenes, and a better feel for the story this time. Looks like it should definitely be up to the usual Marvel quality. We also got a bit more humor, which was lacking in the first trailer.

I thought the trailer was very good. I think the size changing stuff is going to be done very well, the train thing was especially funny, but it fit. I think this is going to be another success for the MCU.

That second trailer was a lot better, but I'm still not as excited for this as I've been for any other MCU movie. I think it'll be cute but not amazing.
