all the way thru the third season. However, Bill Theiss discovered that its life expectancy was not long. After several cleanings the small elastic threads inside the springweave disintegrate, leaving you with a very ill fitted collar that no longer hugs the neck. Bill started to incorporate a nylon rib trim to replace the springweave. This was used in several third season episodes alongside the springweave and then the show was canceled. When Bill returned to do Phase II, he only used the nylon rib trim. So, no matter what you choose, you are accurate, I use both Springweave (which I personally hate!) and nylon.

So poly ribbing wasn't used at all for the first two years (much less "definitely") - but since they're doing the third season version of the tunics with the doubleknit then poly ribbing is screen accurate.

I was just referring to the ribbing, not whether or not the material was poly.
