How cool is that? I like the episode, it was really funny and the scene where Odo shows Sisko who's the boss is a masterpiece ^^

In pictures their stuff is always beautiful, but I've never seen it upclose. Is it really that good that is deserves the pricetags they put on it?

It's very good. Whether it's worth the price tag is obviously a matter of personal opinion - most of what you're paying for is the custom nature of the product, with specific materials, dyes, accessories etc which can't be 'off the shelf'. Their products are great quality and probably the most accurate Trek costumes that have ever been available as licensed commercial products. But God are they pricey.

Manufacturing and licensing costs prevailing, and estimated number of customers, the profit margin is likely going to be nominal or minimal. :(
I look at my phaser from The Wand Company which was about $130 at current exchange rate..........and seems a very fair price for the replica in the cool Starfleet case..........then at the $500 Anovos Discovery phaser and feel like that is a bit steep, but they are selling so it's supply and demand I guess. I decided to just make my own. I can take 130.........can't justify 500.

It's the pricetag that's really too much for me. Not because not being able to afford it, but because I'd hardly do anything with a costume.
