I like this ep. allot because it not only shows that Icheb isn't a boy anymore but now a man. It also very sweetly shows Icheb has come to see Seven as more than just a mentor but as family and her life is as important to him as his own. Excellent ep. for character development.

We watched the first act of "Repression" but had some trouble getting the little one to sleep; by the time we did, we were so exhausted we decided to hold it for tomorrow.
I liked what I saw, though. No episode featuring Tuvok Holmes can be bad.
I also noticed there were some interesting angles to the shots that gave the episode a much different atmosphere. So I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this.
The teaser, with Turkey Platter taking Torres to a 3-D movie...well, at least it wasn't a drive-in.

For me, this is my least favorite Tuvok episode.
IMO they punked Tuvok too much in the series.

I not only like the J/7 here (in a completely platonic/ maternal sense), but I REALLY like the BLT/7 here (in a completely platonic/ sisterly sense).
I got in "trouble" with a homophobe on youtube when I mentioned how I liked the way B'Elanna stepped between the Doc and Seven during their engineering scene. He ( I assume) made it sound like "I" was advocating a three way.
"ME!" the prudish maternal/sister "shipper". When I tried to reorient him ( I assume) to reality, I got another hunk of flesh torn from my elderly hide.I will admit... that interaction slowed my youtube commenting down to a crawl.

So about 1 minute into picking this up again, I say, "Tuvok did it all." And that killed it for me.
They really do make him look screwed up, don't they? A mock execution of his captain?
I absolutely loved the bit where Possessed Chakotay comes to the bridge and Kim says, "Nice to see you again," and he says, "Good to be back," and phasers the shit out of him without batting an eye.
Besides that, not too much else. The episode itself goes beyond not making sense. How did the Bajoran guy manage to hack into the Fed's network and tamper with Tuvok's son's message? And why would have have known, 7 years earlier, to program everyone to take over Voyager, which hadn't even launched yet?

This was the token Maquis episode so everyone could remember that they were the Maquis.
It was stupid and pointless.

There's not a lot of love between me and this episode. At all.

This is what bugs me in retrospect.
They knew the show was coming to close soon but instead of trying to wrap up loose ends with characters, they did crap like this. This ep would have been better served as a conclusion of the Maquis and if the ones on Voyager were going to be given a pardon or go to jail upon their possable return home. Same thing with the upcoming ep. "Prophecy".
And I love the end with everyone in 3 D glasses.
