Announcing STAR TREK: DTI and other CLB news

Rassmussen and Future Guy? Please tell us you're reveal FG's identity, please please please.

No, only that certain events didn't go as history recorded. But he seems to have succeeded in getting history back on track with Archer's help.

Well, definitely. I daresay there's more Mathnet influence than actual Dragnet influence on how I wrote Lucsly & Dulmur. But does it matter so much what's the pastiche and what's the pastiche of the pastiche? ;)

Let's see, how would that go for DTI? "The story you're about to see is a fib, and it's long. The names are made up, but the theoretical temporal physics is more or less real."

Our TWO chief weapons are fear and surprise, surprise and fear, and heavily classified technology.... Oh drat.

^Well, keep in mind that April debuted in TAS: "The Counter-Clock Incident," and Doohan played him with an English accent. And I'm not aware of any prose stories about April that say otherwise. Either they overtly portray him as English or they're mute on the subject.

In at least one of the audio books (Best Destiny i think) Doohan also portrays April with an English accent..

I feel I should clarify that Robert April does not appear in DTI: Watching the Clock. In fact, only two scenes of the novel even take place in the month of April. However, the word "April" itself does not appear at all in the manuscript.

This sounds interesting Christopher; the way you're approaching the concept sounds very intriguing. Will watch this space (and time).

Doohan's protrayal of April didn't really strike me as English, just sort of stiff.

Frankly, that's one episode that would've really benefited from having more voice talent than just Jimmy and Nichelle.
