I've never seen Farfner. Wasn't the artist the same guy who did G-Seed?
Don't feel bad, I watched it tooFafner is not something I expected to see a sequel from. I'll take it I guess though. Sometimes I think I'm the only person that watched it, let alone watched it and liked it. I'm not a huge fan of it but it was entertaining if a bit depressing.

I'll have to check that one out then. Also, yeah, Toshkan Sensou aka Library War was one of those great series that nobody knows about.
Yeah, if you like hard SF and Planetes, TO is definitely up your alley.
Definitely with you on this oneCan't help it but I'm one of those guys who are still hoping there'll be another season of Full Metal Panic at some point.

I keep on holding out hope since the novels are now finished but with each passing year it seems less likely. Oh wells, if Fafner can get a continuation half a decade later who says the same cant happen with FMP

There was another one that came out around the same time as Library Wars called Yakushiji Ryoko no Kaiki Jikenbo, better known as Ryoko's Case Files, which was also an excellent series that nobody seems to have watched.
