Anime for Q1 2010

So do I. The first season is of Spice and Wolf will officially be out from Funimation next week. My copy shipped almost 2 weeks ago though.

The series is also up legally on Funimation.com as well.

Unfortunately, the second season was not licensed by them so that's still only fansubbed.

found a live stream connected to a certain H-site running a bunch of "you'll probably never hear of it" anime subs on demand, I miss anime T_T

Can't say I'm all that "ready." My enthusiasm for Haruhi has seemed to have left the building.

I sort of hope this is it.

I want to see summore FMP.

I can't say I'm as nuts for Haruhi as other fans, but I'll definitely check it out since the franchise is always good for a few laughs.

That reminds me that I should probably put up my XMas avitar.

Was looking over The Chart today and noticed this line in the description of what appears to be an otherwise completely standard fighting-with-special-powers anime:

"He is a Qwaser, a being who manipulates iron and draws his power from breast milk." :wtf:

I'm assuming it's bottled, but you can never be sure when dealing with the crazy world of anime...

I'm assuming that it's err...fresh, since it's generated a lot of controversy and one of the main things it's being billed as is the echi element. That reason is why it's a pass for me. :wtf:

Well, I knew it probably was in the depths of my anime-wrecked soul - after all, what would be the point in using bottled breast milk? - but I was trying to ignore the inevitable and retain the last vestiges of my sanity.

Wibble.

I really enjoyed Eden of the East and I am very much looking forward to the two movies mentioned here!

2010 will also have a new Bleach movie at the end of the year. In Japan they will broadcast "Fade to Black" at Dec. 31 with a first teaser of the fourth movie. Known is already that the topic will be closely related to what we will see when Bleach leaves the fillers behind, meaning the Ichigo/Ulquiorra battle.

Yeah, Eden of the East was one of best (original, and not a sequel of something) series of the year in my opinion, along with Bakemonogatari, Kurokami, Rideback, and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

Indeed Eden of the east was good and looking forward to those movies, found Tokyo Magnitude to be a little on the depressing side :( Time of Eve was a good little OVA if any of yahs missed that one.

I've gotta' agree with Time of Eve too. Although, I would have preferred it if were a little longer and delved into more detail. I would love the universe to be explored more. On that note the same people made Pale Cocoon which was also genius.

Fafner is not something I expected to see a sequel from. I'll take it I guess though. Sometimes I think I'm the only person that watched it, let alone watched it and liked it. I'm not a huge fan of it but it was entertaining if a bit depressing.

I've seen Fafner I thought it was ok but it certainly wasn't something I'd get excited over like a Gundam or a VOTOMS.
