The Merian-class (Planck-class variant) is I think a very fugly class. I am thinking this class is the love child of a Elkins-type and Yeager-type starships.
The other new fugly class is represented by the NCC-2260 (top row, two from the left). The less said, the better I think.
I liked the earlier new classes much better, especially the Aventine which I feel is very beautiful. This trend toward fugly ship designs is disappointing.
