Not to mention money!Actually, I think it's more of a sunk cost fallacy. People invest so much time and energy in to the EU

I was taught it's uncouth to talk about it so I didn't mention it.Not to mention money!
It is mostly crap. And I'm throwing stones at the pedestal of Star Wars being special and must be special.^ ummm does someone need to say it? Most of Star Wars is crap. Let’s not go casting stones. Everyone just live and let live. Enjoy the stuff you like, ignore the rest. You’re not going to get 100% your way, and you might appreciate at least some of the stuff that’s not if you take it on its own terms.
It’s uncouth to brag but a lot of not talking about money is actually about keeping gross inequity and inequality quietly rampant.I was taught it's uncouth to talk about it so I didn't mention it.
Twas a joke. It’s uncouth to brag but a lot of not talking about money is actually about keeping gross inequity and inequality quietly rampant.
How?Twas a joke.
It was a sarcastic rejoinder about mentioning money. Perhaps a wink emoji would have helped. How?
Maybe. It doesn’t read humorous as is.It was a sarcastic rejoinder about mentioning money. Perhaps a wink emoji would have helped.
Variety is the spice of life, and this approach will in the long run contribute to the continued longevity of the Star Wars franchise. Indeed, the recent Sequel Trilogy proves that just sticking to the old tired formula won't create any lasting impressions of the fanbase, as indeed here we are, three years after the Sequel Trilogy ended and it has largely faded from the public consciousness.
I guess you had to be there...Maybe. It doesn’t read humorous as is.
Flaws are hard to manage. Even the OT has flaws but people feel they are willing to overlook them because the overall whole is well done. Rogue One has some significant flaws but again it gets rated highly.I don't have a problem with the "old, tired formula" for Star Wars. My main problem with the Sequel Trilogy was that it did so with bad writing and a lack of originality. I don't mind if a Star Wars production is something different from another. But utilize good writing. "Andor" has some good writing. But I believe it also has some writing flaws. Every time I bring up what I believe is a flaw, people try to dismiss it or make excuses for it. But their arguments always turn out to be ineffective to me. It seems, sometimes, as if hardly anyone wants to acknowledge the idea that "Andor" has flaws. I have managed to spot flaws in every Star Wars production I have seen. Including "Andor".
Well, then, let's hope the franchise doesn't begin to flounder!
I think it's swimming along nicely these days.

I notice the ratings are going up for the show. I 'm not surprised considering the last episode was the best writing from Star Wars ever.
You have failed to identify a single legitimate flaw.
What will Mon Mothma do? I can't see her taking the offer, but who knows, it will make for interesting TV.
It would be cool if she doesn't go that route though and decides to take more of a risk.
I have to wonder if you ever wanted Star Wars in the first place. Or if you simply wanted a well-made science-fiction series from the SYFY Channel. Well, you got it with "Andor". Which makes me wonder if this will solely be the future of the franchise. If so, I just might part ways with the Star Wars franchise. And I still believe "Obi-Wan Kenobi" was the best thing I've seen from Lucasfilm in recent years.
Perhaps. I know I've never liked the Force, I've never liked how the galaxy became smaller and smaller even with The Empire Strikes Back.
Exactly how long have you been following the Star Wars franchise?
I haven't been following this thread long so I don't know what flaws you pointed out other than what for me amounts not to a flaw but a choice: they didn't want to tell a story about Jedi and Sith, princes and magics. Other shows are doing that, and that's not what Rogue One focused on. This series is about something else, and you can enjoy it or not. The fact that it's in the Star Wars universe does not mean it has to be about certain aspects of it.Every time I bring up what I believe is a flaw, people try to dismiss it or make excuses for it. And this show is made for people who prefer that.Perhaps. I know I've never liked the Force, I've never liked how the galaxy became smaller and smaller even with The Empire Strikes Back.
Perhaps in your opinion. Not in mine.
