It’s a joke based on the fact in America Fraiser was broadcast on NBC aka “The Peacock Network “. Peacock’s name is derived from this as NBC is also part of NBCUniversal conglomerate.
The joke would also work with Star Trek, as the original series was also broadcasted on NBC.

Kind of sudden, but then again, I think studios are increasingly starting to understand how difficult it is to get traction with their streaming services.

I love that show. At least it sounds like there will be a planned ending.
The AV Club is reporting that the Michael Jackson bio-movie, which has finished primary filming and was scheduled for an October release, now has to scrap a 1/3 of the movie because the producers and the studio didn't get permission from the judge and the families of the victims that Jackson was accused of molesting and the subsequent trial, which was going to be a part of the movie.
Probably just change the names of the characters to not be aligned with the real people.

Yes, totally a spinoff from the movie, but each episode was starring babies and toddlers tripping the Cube traps.

Well the longest running show "the USA" has now been stalled....... Maybe not renewed or cancelled even
Britain's Got Royals has been on longer.
That's true but even the Royals are in trouble these days, or some of them
Every show has a cast member or two with problems. Not sure promoting Chuck to the lead was a good idea, but it might work out.
