She was arrested before the final half season aired, but after it was filmed.
Took me a sec to realize you weren't talking about the character, but rather the actress, because I hadn't remembered her character being arrested in the show. Although that would have made for one hell of a twist.
The latter sounds like she should be a cast member of the former.

Clark is invulnerable, but he is also super sensitive. You know like how Daredevil can read text impressions on paper left by pens or pencils with his finger tips.
So when Kal is shot with a gun, there is no damage, but its hurts him thousands of times more than it would you if you were shot.
I've read hundreds, maybe thousands of Superman comics, and super sensitivity was mentioned exactly once.
The movies never really show that though do they? I mean a bullet still gotta hurt lots even if it can't physically hurt him.

SUPERMAN IV was the abysmal one. At least III was trying something different. IV was just all kinds of terrible.
There is no Superman 4, the last Superman movie with Christopher Reeve was Superman 3.
SUPERMAN IV: THE QUEST FOR PEACE was the last one with Reeve. It was abysmal.
Both III & IV were abysmal, IMO. I really liked Richard Pryor, but he really should have stayed with stand-up. Both those movies should be stricken from the Superman canon.

I dunno, there were some good movies he was in, ie with him and Gene Wilder. Maybe they should have made a Gene Wilder superman spoof instead
