Like I said in its thread, not a surprise. It had a lot of issues, least of all, really bad timing and unnecessary focus on political strife (which was barely in the comic).
Y: The Last Man goes down for the count with three episodes to go in the first season.
I've only seen the ads, but this show strikes me more as "Land Of The -" rather than just "Lost".In the pilot, one of them, after falling through a magic hole into a fantasy magic land, actually said "Hey, doesn't this seem like an episode of Lost?"
The Target audience shouldn't know what Land of the Lost is.I've only seen the ads, but this show strikes me more as "Land Of The -" rather than just "Lost".
Doesn't change the setup. Just the advertising. The Target audience shouldn't know what Land of the Lost is.
Never saw it.Marley Shelton's obsession with Land of the Lost in Bubble Boy was irregular and atemporal.
And yet there are those of us old enough to remember the original who are still young enough to be the target audience of whom you speak. We may be middle-aged, but we have school-age kids and mortgages, nonetheless. Unless you meant Target, where they would be buying the soap.Even with the early 90s remake, or the 2009 movie with Will Farrel puts the franchise beyond the limited recall of the monkeys buying soap and changing their providers because of traditional broadcast advertising.
Middle aged is 30.
Exactly thirty.
Britannica defines middle aged as 40 to 60.
I notice this year has not been kind to dark and depressing stuff. Except for Squid Game.My wife and I have watched most of it.
It is a very challenging show to watch. I'm not surprised it isn't coming back.
It's mostly depressing and weird.
But, why does everyone love Squid Game?Probably because these past couple of years have been quite dark and depressing.
Probably a good thing since The 100 went off the rails stupid in its last couple of seasons. The prequel/spinoff series The 100: Second Dawn has been ended while in the planning stages.
I lost interest in the second season. I only stuck around for the first because I was enjoying the scenes on the station.Probably a good thing since The 100 went off the rails stupid in its last couple of seasons.
