A mad scramble to recover the existing cast, can leave them with the wrong cast, and then they have to rewrite the remit for the show, if some of them can't or won't come back, which can lead to some very creative writing.

I quit early on in season 2. It had some really annoying characters that I just wanted to strangle.

Manifest is going to have one more 20 episode season made by Netflix.

No the BBC version was just 3 episodes, don't think it was to be ongoing. The Fox version made in 2020 was a co production with Studio Canal but it's so bland and pondering.... How the heck did this get renewed for more seasons I thought they did cancel it.

No idea how Fox's War of the Worlds got renewed. It is so bad that I gave up after 5 episodes.

My wife and I have watched most of it.

It is a very challenging show to watch. I'm not surprised it isn't coming back.

It's mostly depressing and weird.
