And the Next Cancelled Show is...

"Just like a tellenovella! I know!"

Jane was on Brooklyn 99 last night, and it might be more than one episode since she seems to be dating one of the squad.

Dammit! I loved that show! This cancellation season has really been a rather considerable bloodletting. Really hope Amazon picks up Expanse at least. It will soften the blow if they do.

This seasons really has been a bloodbath I have never seen before. Wait a year or so and everything else on Fox will be canceled when they switch over to News and sports after Disney buys them. It's why I really don't understand canceling Lucifer, keep it 1-2 more seasons until Fox Network is dead.

ABC has canceled The Chew! It was the best talk show on the air by miles. But what pisses me off the most is this...

New episodes of The Chew will air as planned through September, at which point Good Morning America will kick off its third hour at 1 pm ET each day.

WHAT THE FUCK?! Let's have Good MORNING America be on in the fucking afternoon?! Fuck you ABC I'm done with your shity network.

^Yay! I was finally really getting into it, so I'm glad they're going to get the chance to wrap it up properly.

Hubby LOVES this show; I've found it a bit uneven; I;m not feeling any particular connection to the characters--although some are certainly more interesting than others. However, this season, I've been very interested in seeing how the plot plays out. It's finally all coming together.

I love the show and came here just to say that it's been picked up. However how do you expect hem to wrap it up properly? There are 10 books, even if you do two books a season you would need several more.

Have you read the books? We haven't even gotten close to the insane part yet. However there is a nature break after book 5-6 I'm hoping they make it to.

Well I hear Jeff Bezos aka CEO of Amazon and richest man on Earth is a fan......so I could see them backing it for multiple seasons. Good guy to have in your corner.

Yes but he's also a cheap sack of shit so we will see. I don't want to put book spoilers here but some crazy stuff happens and the later seasons would be interesting as a TV show.

still holding out hope for Lucifer. Of all the ones I lost in this bloodletting, that's the one I'd like to see back.

Of course, now it's going to be weird that they're airing the two 'bonus' episodes (tonight, I think?). Episodes post-cancellation are odd, and especially since I have to imagine they aren't dealing with the cliffhanger finale. Which is weird itself, as presumably Lucifer and Chloe will be off fighting crime as usual, with no mention of what happened. These were going to air next season, so we're either jumping ahead to a point they've started dealing with it (but we miss that portion), or just not mentioning it, which is strange as well after that. See how it goes, I guess.

I find it strange that a network asked for 4 bonus episodes and then canceled the show (which ratings I don't think dropped that much, before the episodes even aired.

The Fox television network is just treading water until its in-house television studio is sold off to Disney or Comcast. I wouldn't expect any of their scripted shows to survive long-term without moving to another network or streaming channel. In fact, this may be a better time for Lucifer to jump-ship as it will have a lot more competition soon enough (as scripted shows are ditched in droves by the Fox television network, which will leave those shows begging other networks for survival).
