And the Next Cancelled Show is...

In other news Dynasty has been picked up for a full season. I don't know why it hadn't been to begin with. The show's ratings are the worst on CW but Netflix internationally gives $2 million an episode. Even the CW president says it makes money before it even airs.

Disney Streaming will have a live action Star Wars, a High School Musical TV series and a Monsters Inc. TV series.

I'm assuming it will be a spinoff taking place in that universe but without the main monsters. But literally there is no info. However Pixar pretty much runs Disney animation so I'd say they are involved.

Thanks. Aside from the Planes side-universe, has there been any kind of spin-offs based on the Pixar films? I'm kind of worried this will water down the greatness of their films.

There are the Toy Story mini holiday specials.

Disney is going to water down and milk everything to death, Pixar, Star Wars, it's how Disney rolls.

Saw on the news last night that there will be another SW trilogy after the current one wraps up.

Further digging this morning found this.

Disney recently announced: "In shepherding this new trilogy, which is separate from the episodic Skywalker saga, [Rian] Johnson will introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored".

Yeah, I forgot about the holiday shorts, but those were only two and not a reoccurring event. I didn't know about the show. I assume it's not the same cast? Is it the same animation style?

Hmmm, I remember it focused on Buzz Lightyear, so maybe i'd call it a spinoff. There might have been cameos from other characters. But it was a regular animation style rather than 3D animated. Only the intro itself is 3D animated.

The Toy Story specific characters never appear in the show proper. They only pop up in the intro when they gather around the TV to watch the show. Sort of a nod that the cartoon was meant to be the same cartoon from their universe that's connected with the Buzz Lightyear toyline.

So Kevin Probably Saves the Universe is getting 3 more episodes. I wish ABC would just canceled it now so they can spend those 3 episodes closing up shop.

Jar Jar is actually a clown that the adults ignore and the children love. Not making that up, it's in a new book that's canon.
