And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I wondered about that. I saw an ad for an upcoming TV show (can't remember what) that said it would be on the Paramount Network. It's been a couple years since I ditched cable, so I wasn't sure if I'd missed a new channel or not.

Mini Me, I mean Young Sheldon has been picked up for a full 22 episode season after one episode.

Even though the second episode doesn't air until November.

Whose? Network TV. It be on Thursday 8:30 in November.
Why? FOOTBALLLLLLLLLLL!

This is an annoying trend I have noticed picking up. They did a similar thing with DuckTales recently and I recall a few other series (though not names off the top of my head) where they do a "preview" of the pilot episode then wait a few weeks to a month before airing it normally.

It made "Under the Dome" look like Emmy material.

SPIKE will be changing it's name (again) to The Paramount Network.
Coming soon to a cable system near you....
The Mist was horrible. I made it through about 20 minutes.

The Mist series was bad. I watched the entire first season and was disappointed. I was not going to watch season 2 had it even been made. They were dragging it out with mostly tiny monsters and stupid people with bad dialogue and even worse actions.

The mall survivors were some of the most moronic people I have seen on television.

Good call on their part. My parents (in their late 60s), have boycotted SPIKE TV since its inception as they kept associating it with Spike Lee despite my telling them otherwise several times...

Star Trek Discovery? ... Midnight Edge say STD it might get a Season 2 but says the show is Dead on Arrival?

shame about the Axanar Fiasco with CBS Paramount

Major Crimes will end after it's upcoming 6th season and after 105 episodes. The Closer had 109. It had a hell of a run and the ratings are still decent. It was NOT the creator, or the actors choice to end the show.

The Good Doctor is being good to me (Freddie Highmore can be good or bad to me all he wants ;) ) and got picked up for a full season, the first drama of the year to do so after only two episodes. A full season for some reason is reported to be at 18 because they need space for American (doesn't give a fuck anymore) Idol. Which makes zero sense at all.

I will miss Major Crimes. Like many others, I've watched since the beginning of The Closer. That will be a 13 season series for many of the actors. Frankly, that's an excellent run.

Yes, it IS a shame that Peters took over 1.5 million dollars, blew it on himself, and didn't create the fan film product he promised. That was quite the fiasco. Everyone agrees on that point. But suspect that's not what you meant... ;)
The trailer was good...I would have loved to see how it would have turned out...

I (and the family) haven't got round to seeing The Closer yet, but we will miss Major Crimes:(

Netflix has canceled Chelsea.
More shocking, CBS has renewed the (awful, unwatchable, poorly acted, written mess) show 'Salvation'.

I recently finished season 4 of Unforgettable and Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that ending grinds my gears.

Shame it got cancelled I wanted a proper ending.
