I couldn't get into it. Vanessa Hudgens was annoying.
She got hit by honesty gas last week and turned into a mean girl.
Same actress, different character, more appealing.

Pitch could have been great. The supporting cast was mostly annoying outside of the actual Padres.

American Idol is rising from the dead... again!
ABC has beat Fox out in the bidding war (Not sure how that works, however WTF did Fox cancel it anyways?) so the show is supposed to return in March 2018.
However this plan sounds a lot better than the mess NBC was planning, with Kayne West judging. It will be on Sundays and Kelly Clarkson might be a judge. That's what Fox should have done to save money in the first place.
Sundays are a good day as it's dead at ABC. I'm curious to if Once Upon a Time will get a 13 episode 'conclusion' even though half the cast won't be there to fill in until March for the show to return. Also March seems late to me, why not a ratings month like February?

Why have a bidding war,? Just make a rip off version.
The name is what is important in the TV business. You want Ryan Seacrest going "This. is American Idol!"
He is set to return. He's already trying to run away from Kelly Ripa (or whatever her name is).
Plus Fox should have never had canceled it, just fix it. They regret it because they need something. This on Sundays on ABC makes sense to me. I'm hoping in the fall they have a new comedy block.
Once Upon a Time is looking like it's closer to death.... Jennifer Morrison is not returning for a 7th season.

A shame - it wasn't too bad in the beginning, but a few years back it started feeling like they were just sucking the life out of every single possible Disney character, no matter how obscure, to try to get some kind of story out of it. Haven't watched in the past couple years - I know they had brief Star Wars & Marvel Universe in-dialog references, but I was always afraid they were going to start bringing those characters into the mix in a vain attempt just to keep it going.
^ They haven't done Star Wars. But I haven't watched since 2015 and I know they made Emma evil.
ABC said that they were only going to keep, her, Evil Queen, Rumpelstiltskin and Hook for a possible season seven. The kid and her parents were not going to be regulars.
Plus American Idol is coming back in March 2018 on Sundays. I could see ABC thinking about bringing it back for 13 episodes as filler, but now, just show Match Game and some other game shows and make it family friendly.
Of course I could see the family going missing and everyone else looking for them.... again....

My understanding was that the status of the other cast members had not been decided yet. Yes, the focus was going to be on those first four characters, but the show-runners hadn't ruled out keeping others as regulars.
Here parents on the show are gone, they said in the beginning of the season that they were gone and wouldn't be a regular part of season 7. They want to spend more time with their children.
It's time to end the mess, I mean show, with THE FINALE BATTLE. I mean really ABC should have been billing this as the finale season for months.
Rumored for months, it is now official that No Tomorrow and Frequency won't be returning.
