And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Scandal is still fantastic.

You're all Ha8ers.

I just caught the first episode of Bull.

I liked Michael Weatherly on NCIS and I liked him here too but I don't think I like this show. It's literally nothing we haven't seen before, and this show was a hell of a lot better when it was called "Lie to me" because it reminded me so much of that.

I wonder if this will be renewed, as they've only done a single season.

First 3 or 4 episodes of Bull are shit.

They have the really obvious plots and tropes to get out of the way, to get keep the network happy, to prove that they have presented the same product that they pitched a year ago.

I wouldn't say that Bull gets better, but it stops being really-really dumb, if you keep watching.

That first episode was a doozy...... I knew everything that was about to happen and felt very underwhelmed.

I remember a (fictional) mother and son talking.

"Oh Mom! You're so smart! When we watch your programs together, you always know who the killer is in the first 5 minutes. So smart!"

"Well the trick is, you look at the opening credits, and pick out who the most famous guest star is, and that's almost always the killer."

I've never done that. I didn't recognize any of the guest stars on the first episode.

Works out just fine with new shows, too. I've got a mind for faces, and watch way too much tv, so I can almost always recognize the guest stars as so and so from whatever. Castle was an easy example, the person you recognize is almost always the killer or at least heavily involved. Of course, it was almost always the first person they interviewed and cleared as well, but hey, that's the formula for you... :)

Scandal hit an all time low last night, and that was just in the ratings. The writing hit an all time low YEARS ago.

Training Day just got banished to Saturdays, which guarantees its end, if the poor ratings didn't already tell you that.

My mother raved about this show. My sister and I used to joke about how she was making it up. Then, a few weeks ago, my sister calls me and reveals the reason why, it's on opposite This is Us.

This week alone, Bull dropped 2.99% to a 1.3 in the 18-49 demographic, while This is Us gained 20.97% and was a 3.00 in the 18-49 demographic.

The real world feels very sad at the moment.... So many countries going full right retard..... Compassion where is compassion?
